Specialized Data Systems Releases RemoteComply Risk Management Suite

EAST HAVEN, CT, March 5, 2014 – Specialized Data Systems unveiled a new risk management suite at the beginning of the year known as RemoteComply. RemoteComply consists of four individual products that integrate with each other to help safeguard your business operations. Within RemoteComply fall the business continuity planning system (RemotePlan), the alert notification system (RemoteNotify), the vendor management system (RemoteVendor), and the incident management system (RemoteIncident).

With the rebranding of Specialized Data Systems’ products, the established business continuity planning system now known as RemotePlan went through a logo and aesthetics change. During quarter four of 2014, RemotePlan underwent a large upgrade that incorporated additional functionalities including a BCP template, a BIA review date, and a document management module. At the end of the first quarter of 2015, the system is going through another upgrade to accommodate for the new FFIEC regulations regarding the tracking of Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).

At the beginning of 2015, Specialized Data Systems released the new alert notification system known as RemoteNotify. The system generates audio, texts, and/or email notifications by creating an efficient line of communication to notify employees of change in normal business operations. The system is currently in Beta testing and will be available for purchase within the next few weeks.

Specialized Data Systems also announced a future release and current development of a vendor management system known as RemoteVendor. RemoteVendor houses vendor data including vendor programs, provides a time based schedule of vendor managed activities with review and expiration dates, and generates vendor management reports. RemoteVendor is anticipated for release in the summer of 2015. Also during 2015, Specialized Data Systems will be developing an incident management system known as RemoteIncident. RemoteIncident tracks incidents from start to finish with status updates, delegates action items to specific team members, and produces comprehensive reports based on completion of managing the incident. This product will be accessible in autumn.

The new suite in its entirety will be available for purchase by the end of 2015. If you would like to learn more about the RemoteComply products please visit www.remotecomply.com and click on any of the product icons for their information.
